Affiliate Spotlight Winner

Congratulations to our newest Affiliate Spotlight winner Jay Boyer from Richmond, Illinois!!!

Jay has been a Micro Niche Finder affiliate for a year now…even though he has been using Micro Niche Finder for a long time. In short, Jay was using Micro Niche Finder as a means of promoting other stuff. One day, he suddenly realized not only could he use Micro Niche Finder as tool for other promotions, but that he could use Micro Niche Finder to promote Micro Niche Finder! This “A-ha!” moment has proven to be very successful for Jay.

Jay has a healthy perspective of how affiliate marketing works. He believes that if there are projects that aren’t thriving it’s not worth wasting time and energy on those endeavors; it’s much smarter to put the energy into projects that show great potential and/or have been proven to work. As he says, “…cultivate the winners (relentlessly!)”.

To learn more about Jay Boyer and to read about his affiliate marketing philosophy and advice, visit our Facebook Fan Page and look under the “Affiliate Spotlight” box (it’s on the left hand side of the page, underneath our ‘People Who Like This’ box).

You can also visit Jay’s Internet Marketing Strategy website to learn more about affiliate marketing and internet marketing in general. It’s chock full of information so it’s definitely worth at least a look!

Congratulations once again, Jay!

Upcoming Webinar – Loyalty Club Profits

This Wednesday (August 25th) we are hosting a FREE webinar with Leo Quinn called “Loyalty Club Profits”. If you’ve wanted to do offline consulting but haven’t found the right program for you and your business plan, this is a webinar you will not want to miss.

Leo has created a program he calls “Loyalty Club Profits” and this successful strategy is easy to start and adaptable to a wide range of businesses. In a nutshell, by using Leo’s approach business owners pay you to create a “loyalty department” designed to keep their customers coming back for more. If you have basic internet marketing skills, this could be a great way to supplement your income.

Some of the strategies and topics that will be discussed in this webinar include:

*What a “good” prospective client looks like and how to avoid the others…
*The best answer to, “How long have you been doing this?”

*How to get the word out about your services
without having to actually say many words…
*
The one client who could send a letter or email to their customers and get YOU all the clients you need
*
How to guarantee a business owner notices your services (it’s actually pretty easy to stand out)…
*
The three-word question that will open the door to explaining your services with any business owner…
*
What offers to make or promotions to run when sending emails for clients…
*
How to get new ideas for offers and promotions…
*Other profitable services to offer business owners
once your foot is in the door…

And more!

The essential details are as follows:

If you read this blog regularly you should be aware that SMO (Social Media Optimization) is becoming as important as SEO (Search Engine Optimization). The reasons for this change and the evidence that supports this assertion is so voluminous that a thesis paper could certainly be written about it; without going off on a tangent, let’s just make a base statement that people are increasingly using SMO to find their information and artful maneuvering of the Social Media landscape can potentially generate massive traffic to your website. Even though SEO is still king, there isn’t a good reason to NOT pursue SMO to your advantage.

In a perfect world, one way an internet marketer can make their presence known on the vast social media landscape is by picking cohesive usernames across all possible channels. For example, if your product or brand was called “Organic Shampoo” you would want your domain to be “organicshampoo.com” for SEO purposes but “OrganicShampoo” or “Organic_Shampoo” for SMO purposes.

It can be a hassle to look up each social media outlet to see if your desired username is available or not. Luckily, there is a great website we found called Namechk that quickly searches for available usernames across a wide swath of social media websites, including but not limited to: Facebook, twitter, wordpress, blogger, youtube, stumbleupon, reddit, eHow, wikipedia, and badoo (to name a few).

Simply go to Namechk’s website and type in the potential username in the search box. Within seconds Namechk will display if that username is available on each particular website:

In practically no time at all you will know if that username is feasible to create a unified brand image across social media websites!

Having a unified name across all Social Media is ideal, but sometimes it is not possible. In fact, we are great examples of how sometimes a consistent username strategy is not feasible but yet SMO can still work to your advantage. Our main product is called “Micro Niche Finder” yet our twitter name is @micronichetool because Micro Niche Finder exceeds their character requirements (usernames can only be 15 characters long) and this blog is “micronicheblog.com” because “micronichefinder.com” is our company website and “micronichefinderblog.com” is an affiliate website that was already taken before our blog was up and running.

If you were to find yourself in a situation like us, fret not, all you have to do is make sure that people are aware of your other social media presences – include the info at the end of your emails, on the side of your blog, etc. If you keep your visitors and clients informed and constantly refer to your other social media avenues, your SMO will fall into place and work well for you.

We are not affiliated with Namechk in any capacity, we just thought their services were interesting and useful. If you know of any other websites that can search for usernames across social media websites, please share and let us know! :-D

Great news! Tomorrow (August 11th) we are hosting a FREE webinar to demo the next release of Micro Niche Finder! This new version is created not only from our desire to constantly improve the software, but also from your invaluable feedback. We think you will really enjoy the new release :-)

*Added a “What is This” feature to help you identify niche keyword phrases that are unknown to you.

* There is now a “Buying Keyword” feature to find keywords that a person looking to buy a particular niche product would use.

*Selected domains on View Available Domains are also copied to the Windows clipboard when you click the Add Selected to My Domain List button…which makes it easy to retrieve should something go amiss.

Affiliate Spotlight Winner

Congratulations to our newest Affiliate Spotlight Winner, Joe Wilson from Dunedin, Florida! After using Micro Niche Finder for a long time, Joe became an affiliate a year and a half ago.

Joe has been involved with internet marketing for many years and has run the gamut of projects, from helping Match.com grow into the mega-site it is today to helping small startups flourish. Joe’s personal internet marketing journey began in the mid-90s when he built websites to promote his rock band. During this first foray, Joe “tried everything from selling t-shirts online to building up my own web based email system similar to Hotmail or Yahoo.” A very impressive start, indeed! Over the years, and through each experience, Joe has continued to grow and become more and more successful in business and Micro Niche Finder has proven to be an integral part of his marketing strategy.

Fortunately, Joe has given a very detailed account of what he looks for when he uses Micro Niche Finder to detect hot potential niches. To read Joe’s advice and learn more about his strategy, visit our Facebook Fan Page and looking under the “Affiliate Spotlight” box (left hand side of the page, underneath our ‘People Who Like This’ box). In addition, you can visit Joe’s Internet Marketing website to read his opinions and exchange ideas about internet marketing.

Congratulations once again, Joe!
