This, Wednesday March 30th , we are hosting a FREE webinar with the legendary Brian Johnson called “Brian Johnson’s Spartan Marketing System”. During this webinar, Brian is going to show EXACTLY how he made over $500,000 last year in his online business. Impressive, right? Don’t think that this is out of your league – you’d be surprised how accessible and adaptable this strategy is!

In addition, Brian will focus on the importance of implementing strategies and systems in order to leverage one’s self and create synergy online.  Brian will show you how to build a lucrative, rock solid, bullet proof business online. YOU CAN DO THIS.

During the webinar, Brian will also discuss:

1.) Exact methods and strategies that he has leveraged since 2008 (which allowed him to more than double his earnings each year)

2.) The importance of building a real business, rather than always seeking out the next
“magic bullet”

3.) The pitfalls of various systems that Brain has leveraged (and how to avoid them)

And much more!

Search Error Window

Version 5.4.6 (and higher) includes a diagnostic window which will appear if Google does not provide the expected response when downloading search results.

Typically, the failure response we have seen is “403-Forbidden”. An error like this (an HTML-formatted response from Google) will result in the diagnostic window appearing as follows:

You can view a local copy of the actual error page in your default web browser by clicking the “View the actual error page” link. Your default web browser will open. The 403-Forbidden page looks like this:

If you see the message above, you can read this Knowledge Base article to learn more.

If you receive an HTML-formatted response, but it is NOT the 403-Forbidden error, please copy and paste the HTML page and send it as part of your support ticket.

Sometimes, Google may return a response that is not in HTML format. In the event you receive this type of response, the Search Error window will appear as follows:

To view the actual response, click the “View the response from AdWords” link. The result should open in your default text editor (typically it’s Windows Notepad). If you receive this type of response from Google, please copy and paste the text and submit it as part of your support ticket.

Starting with Version 5.5.1 is a Reset Hidden function to reset all of your previously hidden results to “unhidden”.

We added this functionality to Version 5.5.1 because of a bug we discovered in earlier versions. The bug was in the Hide Checked function on the Results Page ribbon. In some instances, Hide Checked would make all of the results for a search to become hidden. This resulted in the following error message when trying to load a search which was affected by this bug:

In Version 5.5.1 has been fixed, but if you have been affected by the bug in earlier versions you can now reset the “hidden” attribute for all results.

This is a very simple task to complete!

To begin, select Data Management” from the Options” menu in Micro Niche Finder:

The Micro Niche Finder Options window will open, with the Data Settings tab already selected. To reset your hidden results, click the Reset Hidden” button:

You will be prompted with the following message. Click the Yes” button to reset the hidden results to “unhidden”:

When the process is complete, you will see the following message:

At this point, you’re done, and you should be able to load all of the previously “unloadable” searches.

Upcoming Webinar – Product Creation

This, Wednesday March 16th , we are hosting a FREE webinar with Mike Cowles called “Product Creation”. The focus of the webinar is exactly what the title suggests: product creation. During this webinar, Mike will create a customized product from Private Label Rights material, set up an affiliate program for that product, show you masterful copywriting and conversion secrets that help you sell more (and faster!), and demonstrate how to get traffic to your new product. This webinar is filled with USEABLE content, not random mumbo-jumbo that’s hard to implement.

If you have been trying to develop a strategy to sell a product, or if you have been desperately trying to create a product, this webinar is definitely for you!

Micro Niche Finder’s Cleanup Wizard

This feature works with newest version of Micro Niche Finder. Have you updated your Micro Niche Finder? If not, do it now!

Over time, the data tables in Micro Niche Finder can become quite large. If you delete searches, the results are superficially gone but they are not actually completely deleted. The Cleanup Wizard will locate “orphaned” results (results which do not have an associated Search or Project) and delete them from the system.

To use the Cleanup Wizard, select Data Management from the Options menu (pictured below):

The Micro Niche Finder Options window will appear, with the Data Settings tab already selected (pictured below):

The Results Cleanup Wizard window will appear (pictured below). To start the Cleanup, click the “Cleanup Now” button:

At this point, the Cleanup Wizard will launch the Optimize Data Files window (pictured below). The Optimize Data Files window re-indexes all of the Micro Niche Finder data files, and removes records which have been previously marked for deletion. Optimize Data Files normally takes a few seconds to a couple of minutes to complete, based on the amount of data you have.

Once the optimization is complete, the Cleanup Wizard will find the results which do not have an associated search or project, and will report the count to you (pictured below). To continue with removal, you must answer “Yes” to this message.

Once you click “Yes” to the message shown above, the Cleanup Wizard will remove the orphaned results. There are 11 tables which contain references to results. The progress of the removal is shown (pictured below). Please note: due to the amount of CPU and hard disk activity, you may see the title of the window contain (Not Responding). Please be patient as the removal process continues. Micro Niche Finder is responding, but is unable to inform Windows of its status due to the CPU/disk activity.

Once the removal is complete, the Optimize Data Files window will appear once again, to re-index and physically remove the records which were marked for deletion. When the Optimize Data Files is complete, you should see the message pictured below. Click OK to close the Results Cleanup Wizard window and return to Micro Niche Finder.

Tomorrow, Wednesday March 9th , we are hosting a FREE webinar called “How To Build Viral Websites And Flip Them Like Crazy!” with Vondre Whaley. Vondre has invented a new script that has the internet buzzing…it’s useful, it’s nifty, and it’s super cool. We think many of you are going to like this and start using it immediately, so we’re very excited for this webinar!

Furthermore, Vondre has developed a website that is only two months old but the analytical data says he’s already getting about 7,020 unique visitors per month.  Think you could do something with that?  So does Vondre.  And frankly, this is just the beginning…of course Vonder is already generating adsense revenue from this site, but he realized that his website had great potential for other sources of revenue. This webinar will reveal other revenue streams, including selling physical CDs and other downloadable products!

Hey everyone, this just came to my attention and since I know so many of our readers use twitter, I thought I’d pass on the good word. There’s a new virus on twitter called “Tweet Viewer”. If you’re on twitter, DON’T click on any link attached to a tweet that says something to the extent of “See who views your twitter profile!” I assure you, the results are anything but “totally amazing” – the link’s tagline lies!

Look, most of you already intuitively know that links that promise to show you EXACTLY who is checking your e-presence is hogwash. These kinds of viruses are so successful because they prey on insecurities (ex: Who is checking out my tweets? Is my ex? Is my new crush?*Gasp* What about my parents/kids/boss/mortal enemy etc….) and curiosity (ex: I wonder what country these people are coming from?). This “Tweet Viewer” virus is just another variation on the “ZoMg! SeE wHo Is ViEwInG yOuR pRoFiLe” theme.

—*Sidenote….not a fan of the caps on/caps off way of typing and just a general rule of thumb, don’t EVER click on any link that *~~TyPeS LiKe ThIs~~*. More often than not, it’s a virus.—

Anyway, this “Tweet Viewer” link is expanding at about 159 tweets a minute. It’s easy to make sure you don’t get infected: DO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK – bit.ly/tweetviewer If you do click on this link, you have to revoke the applications access by account by going to Settings > Connections > Revoke Access.

It doesn’t appear like this virus is infecting anything YET,  but it does perpetually spread itself so that is a problem. Your computer is vulnerable as long as the virus has access, so if you are infected act as quickly as possible to put the kibosh on this!

The fact that this simple tweet became so viral is indicative of carelessness and/or naiveté. If Facebook and Twitter were going to release a bonafide app that could show you who exactly viewed your information, it would be front page news. A development like that could be considered a culture-changer and the news and blogosphere would be buzzing with opinions about its implications.

It may be hard to stifle that curiosity, but never click a random link that promises gold (especially when it comes in a form of less than 140 characters a la twitter). If you have a question about a links legitimacy, either search Google or send a message to the friend that “sent” the link to you and ask them if the link is legitimate or if it’s spam. If it of the spam variety, your friend might not know they’ve been infected and will thank you for alerting them. If it’s a safe link, you’ll hear it firsthand – a win/win scenario! A little bit of caution goes a long way – if the link is coming from a questionable source, it never hurts to double check before you click it!
