Congratulations, you just purchased Micro Niche Finder! Bet you can’t wait to start looking for great niches. However, Micro Niche Finder must be activated before you can perform any online searches. Don’t worry – it’s easy to do.

First and foremost, you must be connected to the internet in order to activate the software. You will be automatically prompted to activate on the Home Page, as seen below:

When you click the link to activate, you will see the Micro Niche Finder Activation window. This is where you will enter your ClickBank receipt number (the ClickBank receipt number may appear as “Order Number” on your ClickBank Purchase Confirmation) to activate the software:

This receipt number was emailed to you after you purchased Micro Niche Finder. The receipt number is normally 8 digits long and is a mix of letters and numbers.

If you did not receive (or do not remember) your receipt number, you may use the following link to request that it be emailed to you.

http://www.micronichetool.com/userlookup/form.php?whichForm=email

Please note: you will need the original email address you used when purchasing the software (this is sometimes your PayPal email address, if you use separate email addresses for different websites).

After entering your receipt number, click the Activate button. The activation process is usually very fast (a couple of seconds). If the software is successfully activated, you will be returned to the Home Page, and you should see the following message:

Of course, if you have any problems whatsoever, please submit a support ticket and we’ll be happy to help!

Google Image Changes

If you have used Google’s Image search recently, you may have noticed that the images enlarge in size as your mouse scrolls over it.

This is a convenient (but not exactly groundbreaking) development for Google Images. In the past, the image sizes were so tiny that it was necessary to click on each and every image to clearly see the picture….but now simply mousing over the picture suffices.

The bigger change is that Google now includes image results on its main search page if  certain keywords like “photos”, “pictures”, or “images” are searched. In addition to the normal search results, there is now a grid of related images at the very top of the page. Tag your photos using optimized and relevant keywords to try to break in to these top image search results! If a person clicks on your image, they will be escorted to your page. This is just one more way to try and direct traffic to your website.

If you don’t see this change on Google yet, fret not – it may not have been released in your country yet. Google did promise that it would be rolled-out worldwide by the end of the month though, so keep an eye out for it!

UnTweeps

If you have a twitter account, you are going to love UnTweeps!

UnTweeps is a service that allows you to unfollow twitter accounts that are inactive. Think of it as a nifty little tool that spring cleans your twitter list. There are two reasons to do this: you want to purge the dead weight in your list to have your following count more reflective of reality, and if someone has been inactive long enough, twitter may reassign the twitter name to someone else and that could potentially lead to all kinds of confusion.

Untweeps logs into your twitter account via twitter’s own API, and it scours your list for people who have not tweeted in the past certain amount of days. So if you enter 30 days, it will find all the accounts who have not tweeted in that time period and give you the option to unfollow the users. You can adjust the time period up to the past 15 days.

This is a free service, but you can only use it 3 times a month. If you want to use it more – or use its additional features like checking for inactive accounts under 15 days – you need to pay a monthly fee of $5. But unless you have a million followers, it’s probably unnecessary to use this service more than 3 times per month.

Give UnTweeps a try – you might be surprised how many inactive accounts you’re following!

Want to leave a Micro Niche Finder Testimonial that ALL Micro Niche Finder users will be able to see? Well, you can. It’s incredibly easy and takes .05 seconds (plus or minus some, haha!) But in all seriousness, it’s a quick process and we’re grateful for all feedback.

When you open your Micro Niche Finder, you will see on the far right of your main screen a link that says “Click Here to Add Your Own Micro Niche Finder Testimonial”.  Click it!

You’ll then see a VERY important pop-up. Although it’s included in the picture below, the gist of it is: Don’t confuse a customer testimonial with a support ticket! If you need support, submit a support ticket.

Then you will just enter your  name, your email address, your URL (if you have one) and your testimonial. Hit submit and you’re good to go!

Nifty New Gmail Features

Gmail is fast. However, Gmail just released new features that make its fast email service even faster. There are two particular changes in Gmail that are both speedy and convenient.

The first one is so common-sense it’s hard to believe Gmail didn’t implement it before: Background Send.

Instead of waiting for your emails to send before returning to your inbox, you can now hit “send” and immediately go tackle the other emails you have waiting for you; this is because now all of your emails are sent in the background. Previously, leaving the email message before receiving a confirmation that the email has been sent resulted in the email NEVER getting sent! This new change is barely perceptible but it really saves a lot of time.

The second particularly nifty new feature is called “Canned Responses”.

This is a HUGE time saver if you find yourself always typing the same sorts of emails time and time again. Simply Click on the link that says “Canned Responses” and choose the appropriate reply  (it’s easy to add replies that are relevant  to you – just click on ‘New Canned Response’ and type in whatever you wish). With a few clicks you can insert your message instead of typing it out…this new feature seriously saves time!
