Entering an eBay Affiliate Program can be immensely profitable, and eBay is selective about who it accepts into its program.  To increase your odds of being accepted, make sure your site is fully developed before you apply. Ebay wants a site that will reflect well on their program and engage customers. With the guidance of Mark Thompson from http://wpgoldmine.com/ we have provided a quick checklist to help you get into this affiliate program. Remember, all the stuff below may seem like a lot of work but you only need to do it once, and if you previously applied and were turned down just use a new email address.

Always have the following before you apply:

1.) 5 pages of original content about the niche – eBay wants to make sure you are knowledgeable and not solely concerned with making quick cash.

2.) No other monetization – do NOT have any adsense or affiliate banners/links on your website. eBay, for reasons known only to them, really dislike these features. Keep your website devoid of these monetization methods. After you are approved, however, it’s fine to add these features if you wish.

3.) A Privacy Policy – eBay despises spammers and a privacy policy makes you legitimate.

4.) Multimedia – add videos, pictures, polls, etc. so that your site looks nice and engaging.

5.) Add a contact page – this also makes you less “spamy” and more human.

Hopefully this outline helps you get admitted into the eBay Affiliate Program.

Background Downloader

One of the tools Micro Niche Finder utilizes is called a background downloader. The background download service is designed to allow you to download Exact Match Counts, Ad Cost, OCI, and SOC in the background, even when Micro Niche Finder isn’t running.

You can turn off (and remove) the service by clicking the link on the main page in Micro Niche Finder.

Background Downloader

For example, with the background downloader you can set Micro Niche Finder up to do 500 or more SOC searches, exit Micro Niche Finder, go to bed, and when you get up the next morning the results will be in Micro Niche Finder.

The background download service uses less than 1K of memory when idle, and we have never seen it go above 4K during processing. It should have very little effect on overall computer performance, but it makes searching for niches infinitely more convenient.

Client Testimonials

On the main screen of your Micro Niche Finder, you should see a tab titled “Client Testimonials” near the top right side. If you want to leave feedback about your experiences with Micro Niche Finder (and we fully encourage you to do so), you can leave your thoughts and comments easily.

Underneath the “Client Testimonials” tab, there is a clickable link saying “Click Here to Add Your Own Micro Niche Finder Testimonial”.

Client Testimonials

Once you click on that, you will see a screen asking you for your name, your email address, and your website URL. After you fill those fields out, you can type your testimonial in the allocated testimonial space.

Latent Semantic Indexing Feature

When writing an article for your niche, it’s important to comprehend the concept of “latent semantic indexing”. Understanding LSI is a great way to get your article or product ranked higher than your competition, and Micro Niche Finder offers a LSI feature to help you in this endeavor.

But first, a bit more explaining of LSI is necessary. When Google indexes your site, it likes to make sure that you stay on topic. The method by which to make sure that your article or website is of worth is called Latent Semantic Indexing. If Google analyzes your site with LSI and finds that you abandon your subject or veer severely off course, it may label your website as spam.

LSI, as far as we can tell, is very important in the mysterious Google algorithm. You can use the LSI to your advantage by describing the topic of your article in multiple ways (make sure not to partake in keyword stuffing, though). By giving more information with relevant keywords to your main object/subject, your article will achieve higher Google rankings.

To use the LSI feature, search a potential niche (I chose “bird cage” for this example). When you find the term of your choosing, click on that term so that a narrow purple screen appears alongside it. Click on the “LSI Search” option.

LSI

Once you click on the LSI search feature, a new list of phrases will appear. All of these phrases are related to your original main point. Run a normal search on these new terms (check the Exact Phrase Count, Search Count, OCI, SOC, and Ad Cost). Although there isn’t a “set” amount, we recommend finding five or six good phrases from this list that have good data across the board and that can be coherently incorporated into your article.

From my example list, I decided to choose the phrases “bird cage accessories”, “flight cages”, “Cockatiel cage”, “bird cage litter”, and “Plexiglas bird cages” into my article. I will use these terms in a natural manner, so that these phrases enhance the main subject of the article (bird cages). Google will see my article is on topic and very informative via latent semantic indexing and will rank me accordingly.

Furthermore, by using LSI on Micro Niche Finder, the LSI keywords will act as keywords onto themselves when searched. For example, even though my article is about bird cages in general, if someone searches “bird cage litter” my article will be ranked highly for that particular search term. By using LSI feature, you will be giving your article more keywords and thus a greater chance of being found.

When you open Micro Niche Finder at the bottom of the page it shows you the path to your data folder.  On my computer its:

C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ALL USERS\MICRO NICHE FINDER\DATA\

1.)  Once you find the path to your data folder, follow these steps:
2.)  Just copy that data folder and all the files in it.
3.)  Install Micro Niche Finder on your new computer.
4.)  After you install Micro Niche Finder on your new computer, copy the saved data folder back to that same location on your new computer.

You should now have all your data ready to go!
